Goodnight Mister Tom

Performed by Thame Youth Theatre, Goodnight Mr Tom is the story of young evacuee, William Beech, who is taken to kind but grumpy old Tom Oakley in the country. Tom soon discovers multiple bumps and bruises all over Willie's skin - the only explanation being a lot of beating. Under Mr Oakley's care William gradually flourishes and they form a close bond.   Written by David Wood, adapted from the novel by Michelle Magorian
