Yes Tribute – Saturday 17th March

For those that don’t know Yes was a band formed in the late 1960s and were in their heydays throughout the 1970s. Lead singer was Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman played keyboards throughout most of the 70s. (I suppose if you needed to be told that you were never a fan!).

Yes Please is an authentic tribute band which last performed at The Players Theatre in January last year. They are based in Oxford and formed in 2011 with the aim to faithfully recreate the original group’s

Yes Please recreate the excitement of a 1970s Yes Concert with classic sounds, full harmonies and an earthy, energetic performance. From ‘Yours Is No Disgrace’, ‘Starship Trooper’, to the epic ‘Close To The Edge’, ‘Gates Of Delirium’, and the band’s biggest hits ‘Roundabout’, ‘Wonderous Stories’ and ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’, Yes Please painstakingly recreate the exhilarating, intricate, innovative and intense music of their heroes.
