Help Us Build A Better Theatre

100 Would you like to be commemorated at The Players’ Theatre as someone who is fond of the theatre?

Or perhaps there is a loved one whose life or achievements you wish to be remembered?

A unique way of doing this is to have a plaque bearing your name or the name of someone else mounted on the back of a seat in The Players’ Theatre auditorium.

By having a personalised plaque installed, you are also making a donation to our Building A Better Theatre campaign, to fund improvements to the theatre.

Thanks to your help and support, a new heating system was installed last autumn. This summer work is in progress to create a larger stage, improved lighting, an extra row of seats and, during the autumn, a reconfiguration of the balcony will be achieved.

Approaching £200,000 has been raised to date, which is magnificent, and has enabled us to carry out much of the work needed. But there is still important work to be done to make the theatre as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible, so please help us by making a donation.

Of course, donations of any amount, however small, are welcome – it all helps – but if you would like a seat plaque on the back of a seat, donations must start at £250 and above.

So please complete the form below and send it to us today with your cheque for whatever sum you are able to give. South Oxfordshire District Council will match your donation from the grant they awarded Thame Players from their Community Investment Fund, so when you donate £250, the theatre will receive £500. Every donation, no matter how small, will release the same amount from SODC.

Please download, print and complete the BABTIndividualsDonationForm and send it to : Building A Better Theatre, The Players Theatre, Nelson Street, Thame OX9 2DP.
